EFFECTIVE August 28, 2004—STATUTE 486.225-- PARAGRAPH 6 - Prior to submitting an application to the Secretary of State, each applicant applying for a NEW commission or applying to RENEW their commission shall read the Missouri Notary Handbook and complete a computer-based notary training course or notary training in another manner prescribed by the Secretary of State.
